Why this site exists
There are Sunday Schools all over Pakistan meeting in rented rooms, on rooftops, in courtyards and under trees. What they mostly do not have is material. Published Sunday School curriculum is written for churches in other countries, priced for those countries, and printed in languages the children do not speak at home. A volunteer teacher in a Punjabi village cannot buy it, and if she could, it would not fit her class.
So this curriculum is given away. Every lesson on this site can be read, printed, copied, taught and translated by anyone, without asking permission and without paying anything. Praise the LORD, the Word of God was never meant to be sold to the people who need it most.
The ministry behind it
This work belongs to Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan, founded in 2009 by Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir after a miraculous healing. It began with five Urdu Bibles given away by hand.
Since then, by God’s grace, the ministry has grown into a national work:
- More than 150,000 free Urdu Bibles distributed since 2009
- More than 50,000 illustrated children’s Bibles given to Christian schools and Sunday Schools
- More than 1,000 Christian leaders trained
- Maranatha Christian High School, opened in 2021, teaching more than 500 children from Nursery to Grade 10 without charging a single rupee in tuition
- Revelation Bible College and Seminary, whose graduates have planted churches across the country
The Sunday School work grew out of all of it. Children who were given a Bible needed somebody to teach them to read it. Churches that were planted needed a class for their children by the second month. Teachers appeared before curriculum did, which is the usual order of things.
Who runs it
The ministry was founded and is led by Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, who also serves as founding pastor of Good Samaritan Church in Lahore and president of Revelation Bible College and Seminary. He writes the songs the children sing, including the Sunday School song on this site.
The teaching itself is done by the team in Pakistan — pastors, trained teachers and volunteers in the local congregations who meet the children every week, know their families, and carry the work.

Children can take the truth
Bible stories are not softened into fables. Joseph’s brothers really did sell him. The cross really happened. Children in Pakistan already know that life can be hard, and a curriculum that pretends otherwise loses them by the age of ten.
The heart language matters
On the day of Pentecost every person present heard about God in their own tongue. That is a pattern, not an accident. Memory verses here are given in Roman Urdu alongside English so a teacher can put the verse into the language a child dreams in.
A teacher with nothing can still teach well
Every lesson assumes no projector, no printer, no instruments and very little money. If a lesson cannot be taught with paper, a Bible and a willing voice, it does not belong in this curriculum.
What children sing, they keep
A child forgets most of what they are told and remembers almost everything they sing. That is why songs are treated here as teaching, not entertainment.
