Activity
Palm procession. Cut palm branches from green paper. The whole class processes around the church or the yard waving branches and singing, with one child leading. Invite the smaller classes to watch — the noise is part of it.
Craft
Paper palm branch with the memory verse written along the stem, cut with fringed edges so it rustles when waved.
Closing prayer
Lord Jesus, You came as a humble King on a donkey. Hosanna — save us now. Help me to follow You on the hard days and not only cheer on the easy ones. Amen.
