Memory verse
“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.”
Matthew 6:9
Roman Urdu Pas tum is tarah dua kiya karo: Ai hamare Baap, tu jo aasman par hai, tera naam pak maana jaye.
Activity
Prayer hands. Draw round each child's hand and write one line of the prayer on each finger. They use their own hand to remember the five parts, which means they can pray it anywhere without a book.
Craft
Prayer card in a pocket. A card with the Lord's Prayer written clearly and decorated by the child, small enough to keep in a pocket or a school bag.
Closing prayer
Pray the Lord's Prayer together, slowly, line by line, with the children repeating each line after you.
