Memory verse
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1
Roman Urdu Ibtida mein Khuda ne aasman aur zameen ko paida kiya.
Activity
Creation walk. Take the class around the churchyard or the street outside for five minutes. Every child must bring back one small thing God made — a leaf, a stone, a feather. Sit in a circle and let each child hold up what they found and say "God made this." Keep the objects on a table for the next week.
Craft
Fold a sheet of paper into six boxes and let each child draw one day of creation. Under-fives will not draw neatly and that is not the point — talk to each child about what they are drawing while they work. Write the child's name on the back and send it home, because the parents will ask about it.
Closing prayer
Thank You, God, for making the sky and the sea and the animals. Thank You for making me. Help me to look after the world You made. In Jesus' name, Amen.
